There are 2 ticket options for this day:
1. Discover Glendon: Mandatory orientation for new students (8 : 00 am – 12 : 30 pm)
Discover Glendon is a mandatory program that will introduce you to important services, resources, and people in your community.
It features a session with your peer-mentorship cluster and an all-encompassing presentation in the morning, followed by a session with your academic department in the early afternoon. The peer-mentorship clusters are designed specifically for you, including clusters for francophone or mature students.

Sign in will begin at 8:00 a.m. in the Centre of Excellence – the glass building which is the first building you see when entering the campus.

2. Discover Glendon + Optional York Orientation Day (8 : 00am – 5 : 00pm)
York Orientation Day is an official welcoming ceremony with the entire incoming class at York University. It is optional, yet recommended following Discover Glendon. A shuttle bus from Glendon to Keele and back will be provided.

How to prepare for Discover Glendon and York Orientation Day:
- Register for Discover Glendon and/or York Orientation Day
- Mark your calendar and plan for a full day event on September 8
- Look for an email confirming all details later in the summer
- Know your transportation route to Glendon and plan to arrive early
- Pick up your personalized orientation schedule at the kiosk in Centre of Excellence (YH A) on September 8, at 8 am
What to bring to Discover Glendon and York Orientation Day
- A notebook and pen
- Your printed Fall/Winter session timetable
- The York University Glendon Campus and Keele Campus maps
- Snacks
- A reusable water bottle
- Lunch will be provided
