Leaders-in-Training (ages 13-15)
This bilingual camp develops leadership skills such as team-building, problem-solving, innovation and goal-setting set in a recreational and adventure-based programming guided by academic theory and leadership practice.
Who should attend?
Camp Glendon is for children and youth (aged 5-15) who are learning or want to learn French or English as a Second Language. This camp is ideal for students with some language learning experience such as French Immersion, Extended French, Core French or ESL. Participants will learn vocabulary by engaging in activities outside of the classroom in both English and French. Most importantly, participants will be encouraged to have fun!
Instructors are bilingual university students with teaching experience who are passionate about languages, learning and fun. Instructors emphasize skill development while at the same time introduce and help build language skills and cultural experiences. Staff are certified in standard First-Aid/CPR, have obtained their police background checks, and receive extensive leadership and teacher training.
Online registration for faculty, staff, students and alumni is discounted (-10%)
