Glendon’s flexible and multidisciplinary liberal arts programs prepare students for an almost infinite range of career opportunities.
Our specialty
The liberal arts — social sciences and humanities — are widely considered to provide a top-rate education in some of the longest-standing academic disciplines: philosophy, history, languages, literature, and many others. Through these fields, our students probe enduring human questions and practical problems. Our flexible, interdisciplinary approach is a hallmark of a Glendon education. Our aim is to help you to shape a degree that responds to your specific interests, provides a solid foundation in the liberal arts, and offers practical, hands-on learning. Choose majors and minors from across 20 different disciplines, make your degree an international Bachelor of Arts (iBA), go on an international exchange in third year, add a certificate to your studies, or consider an internship at home or abroad.
Your future
Glendon’s annual career fairs attract some of Canada’s top employers who are looking for the skills students acquire from a well-rounded, liberal arts education: critical thinking, communication, research and, of course, language skills. Liberal arts graduates can be found in a wide variety of fields including finance, consulting, advertising, law, education, marketing, policy, and more. Our graduates are also well represented at the management level and in international positions.
