A Glendon graduate (1990) and a graduate of the Faculty of Environmental Studies (York U., 1998), he created and designed: the course "Communication, Health & Environment" NATS-SOSC 1605.06 (General Education and formerly in Environmental and Health Studies, Multidisciplinary Studies Department) in 2004/2005; the course "Urban Ecology and Urban Health" NATS-SOSC 1620.06 (General Education) in 2021.

Charles-Antoine is currently a member of the Leadership Team of the SDGs-in-the-classroom Academic Innovation Fund project and a member of the Community of Practice for the project. Charles-Antoine is featured as a YorkU SDGs Curriculum Champion (5 min. video, May 2022.)

Charles-Antoine has been a member of the Board of directors of the Ontario Healthy Communities Coalition (2015-2019). 

He was also a member of the steering committee of the Healthier Cities and Communities Hub, at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health of the University of Toronto.
