MPIA Information Sessions have now concluded. However, it would be our pleasure to have a one-on-one conversation with you (by phone or in person), at a time that is convenient to you. How to apply

The Graduate Admissions Office will accept online applications and supporting documents towards the end of September 2011. Please contact us for more details.

To apply, you will need to complete and submit the following:

  1. York University Graduate Studies Application Form (online)
  2. Supporting documents (click on the link to download the appropriate forms)
    • Graduate Admission Package Checklist
    • Supplementary Information Form
    • A C.V./Resume
    • Statement of Interest (in both official languages, not a translation but both languages in one letter - 500 words) describing your past research experience, research you would like to do in your graduate work, areas in which you plan to study, reasons for your interests in our program, as well as your career plans. [NOTE THAT THIS IS AN ESSENTIAL PART OF YOUR APPLICATION.]
    • Three reference letters
    • One sample of academic writing (15 to 30 pages / 7500 - 15000 words)
    • Proof of French language proficiency
