Bachelor of Arts (iBA)
-
available as a bilingual or trilingual program
Acquire a top-quality liberal arts education with an international
perspective through our bilingual
and trilingual iBA programs - the only of their kind.
Glendon’s unique international Bachelor of Arts recognizes
the need to prepare students for success in an exciting
and complex international environment where issues
increasingly cut across and transcend national borders.
The iBA allows
you to reflect on international issues within and beyond
your area of specialization and provides practical experience
in living and learning abroad that will enrich your life
permanently, and distinguish your education in the work-force or when applying for graduate studies.
Our reputation
for excellence in languages and international studies, our
close-knit, multicultural community, and our Toronto location
combine to make Glendon the ideal host for this program.

How to apply to Glendon's iBA program:
If you will be applying to Glendon, proceed through the Ontario Universities' Application Centre (OUAC) at www.ouac.on.ca. Under "York University, Glendon", select the iBA program code: YGG, and the discipline of your choice (e.g. YGG Political Science, YGG Sociology, etc).
If you have already applied to an existing iBA program, and now wish to pursue one of the new iBA options, you can transfer during your academic advising appointment.
If you have already applied to Glendon, but not to the iBA specifically, you can transfer your Bachelor of Arts (BA) to an International Bachelor of Arts (iBA) during your academic advising appointment.
If you start out in a Glendon BA and wish to transfer into the iBA program during your studies, you may request to do so.
Note: If you are admitted to the iBA from high school, you will begin in the bilingual program. If you are interested in the trilingual option, speak to your academic advisor. It is possible for qualified students to transfer from the bilingual to the trilingual program during their studies.
