About The Lion’s Den
Have questions about academic life or student life? Are you just looking for a new experience outside of class? Or simply curious about all things Glendon?
At the Lion’s Den, you’ll meet student peer mentors who can give you insight on what to expect and tips for success. Resources are available to give you information on everything from orientation to getting a commuter locker to finding a job on campus.
Come Find Us!
During the Fall/Winter terms, you can find the Lion’s Den information kiosk located in the Centre of Excellence, where we’ll connect you to the best of what Glendon has to offer.
Our hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm, and you’ll always find a Lion’s Den team member there to help you out!
How to Get Involved
The Lion’s Den is dedicated to providing students with the best opportunities to gain the fundamental skills that they need for the future.
That’s why we offer a series of workshops through the Glendon Leadership Development Program (open to all students!), which will help students develop their leadership potential.
We also have another set of workshops specifically designed to help give student organizations on campus the training they need to be successful.
Help welcome future students like yourself and support their transition to university. The Lion’s Den is always looking for volunteers to join the team for the upcoming school year – either by being a Peer Mentor, facilitating a workshop, or helping out with events and canvassing!
You can apply from March to April. In the meantime, get involved on campus. Stop by the Lion’s Den to discover what kind of involvement is right for you!
Other Volunteer Opportunities
If you’re interested in helping out around Glendon, especially during events, keep an eye out for volunteer call-outs! A list of upcoming events can always be found through the campus’ website, Facebook or Twitter, so make sure you’ve liked or followed them to stay updated!
