Clubs 101 is a training session for Glendon clubs hosted by the Office of Student Affairs and the GCSU. Club executives will learn about running elections, registering their club, how to book spaces on-campus, inclusive event planning, YuConnect, storage space on-campus and anything else to be an effective and successful club. This training is mandatory for all clubs.

On the other hand, Transition Day is exactly as it’s described – a reflection session on the activity and progress of the club over the course of the past year, an initiation of future executives, and the revamping or revisioning of the club’s action plan for the coming year. It’s also a time to celebrate a club’s success, especially in relation to its mandate, as the torch is passed to incoming execs. Like Clubs 101, Transition Day is a mandatory session.

YU Connect is York University’s central club database that connects them to one another, serves as a platform for event promotion, and allows access to all forms. The latter are especially important during the registration/renewal process as well as event planning. Visit the “Forms” and “Event Planning” pages for more details.
