Certificate Requirements

Students must complete 33 credits (at least 27 of which are at the 2000 level or higher) in the appropriate stream of the Certificate in Translation Spanish-English / English-Spanish. There are two streams in this programme: the Hispanophone stream for students whose mother tongue is Spanish and the Anglophone stream for students whose mother tongue is English. Students whose mother tongue is neither Spanish nor English must choose a stream in collaboration with the Coordinator of the Certificate in Translation.

To remain in the program a student must achieve a minimum grade of C+ in each course with a minimum cumulative average of C+ for the Certificate program.

Students will be required to complete a minimum of 18 credits at Glendon College to be eligible for the Certificate. To be admitted, you must comply with the eligibility requirements (see Admission), and complete the following courses. The courses must be taken in sequence; advising is crucial for the successful completion of the program.
