Il nous fait plaisir de vous annoncer que Théâtre La Tangente présente en collaboration avec BoucharDanse L’IMPLORANTE et L’ÉTERNEL VOYAGE au Centre Harbourfront les 23, 24 et 25 octobre 2014.
L’IMPLORANTE was work-shopped at Glendon Theatre in 2011 by Théâtre La Tangente, founded by former Coordinator of the Glendon Drama Studies Programme Claude Guilmain. Course director & TGT Technical Coordinator Duncan Appleton won the 2011 Théâtre Action – Prix d’excellence artistique arrière scène for his part in designing the scenography of the piece. Several current Glendon students and Alumni are also involved including Jessica Browne, Cora Chunzi, Dean Johnston & Aurelien Muller.
Friday evening’s performance will be followed by a conversation and audience Q & A with the artists Sylvie Bouchard (BoucharDanse), Louise Naubert and Claude Guilmain (Théâtre La Tangente), and Georgiana Uhlyarik, Associate Curator of Canadian Art at the Art Gallery of Ontario. This cross-disciplinary conversation exploring the creative process with a special focus on the work of women artists will be hosted by journalist Dominique Denis. (The talk will take place in English.)
