On Tuesday November 6th at 12:30PM the English and Drama Studies departments are proud to present special guest Yvette Nolan. is an Algonquin actor, playwright, director and dramaturge. She has received praise and awards for her dozen works for the stage, her extensive mentoring—encouraging, promoting and producing Aboriginal playwrights and performers, and for building ties worldwide with other indigenous communities. In 2008 she won the City of Toronto Aboriginals Affairs Award. She is an active, vital contributor to the arts in Canada.
