The Drama Studies Program of Glendon College and Theatre Glendon present:

Futurist Cabaret: Let Us Reform The Stage!

The Drama Studies Program and Theatre Glendon are pleased to present Futurist Cabaret: Let Us Reform The Stage!, the final performance project of students in GL/DRST 2617—Performing Texts: An Introduction. For this production, students selected nine Futurist sintesi (short, “synthetic” plays written by Futurist artists between 1909 and 1944), they developed a concept for staging each piece, directed each other, and will perform their work for the public on March 31st and April 1st.

Come witness visual representations of states of mind, participate in a theatre that rejects conventional dramatic models, and get a lecture on Futurist fashion while you are at it!

Dates: March 31st and April 1st 2015
Time: 7 p.m.
Tickets: Pay-What-You–Can.
Location: Glendon Theatre (Room 188 A, 2275 Bayview Avenue, Toronto)
