Kenneth McRoberts : Leading Glendon for fifteen years
Fifteen years! Fifteen terrific years at the helm of Glendon! In June of this year, Kenneth McRoberts left his position as Principal of Glendon College. Gregory Sorbara appointed the 13th chancellor of York University
Julia Foster, chair of the Board of Governors of York University, and Mamdouh Shoukri, president and vice-chancellor, announced Monday that Gregory Sorbara has been appointed York University’s 13th chancellor for a three-year term. Sorbara will be officially installed as chancellor in June. As ceremonial head, Sorbara will serve as lead ambassador of York, preside over all convocation ceremonies and confer degrees. Read story
New Principal Appointed: Donald Ipperciel
York University President and Vice-Chancellor Mamdouh Shoukri announced the appointment of Professor Donald Ipperciel to the position of Principal of Glendon College. A committee formed by the President of the University recommended the appointment of Professor Ipperciel following an extensive national and international search. He took up his new post on July 1, 2014. Read story
