I am perplexed and curious about the history we are making. Environmental movements and the IPCC report show we are living in a crisis in our relationship to nature and each other. Religious movements have emerged from predictions of secularization to be important global actors. What tools does sociology have to help understand these developments? What kinds of useful research can we do?
