Professor Melgar-Foraster teaches courses at the Department of Hispanic Studies. She is a published writer of short stories and novels, and the recipient of two literary awards. She has finished writing a fantasy fiction saga of four novels in Catalan, from which the first and the second are already published. The first novel has also been published into English.
