I passed the Certificate entrance exam. What do I have to do next?
If you passed the entrance exam you still have to meet York University’s admission requirements.
- External applicants: If you are not currently a Glendon/York student, you should contact the Office of Admissions and submit the documentation required (ph: 416-736-5000; visit their website for all other contact information).

You will find the latest information about tuition and fees at the office of Financial Services.
How does course scheduling work?
Our courses are offered either on site or in online or blended format. On-site classes are offered in the evening. Classes are once a week and each session is three-hours long. All of our courses are offered in the Fall and Winter terms (we currently do not offer summer courses).
How do I know that I am officially registered in the Certificate?
- If you are not currently a York University student: Once you passed the exam, applied, and were able to register and enrolled, you are registered in the Certificate.
- If you are an internal student doing the Certificate concurrently with a Glendon or York University BA: If you passed the Certificate entrance exam you need to submit the Certificate application form to the Office of Academic Services at Glendon. Note that if you do not submit that form, even if you are taking Certificate courses you will not be officially in the Certificate.
How do I know if I am following the program in the right sequence?
For successful program progress and completion it is crucial to have yearly advising appointments with the Certificate coordinator (new and current students should fill out the Certificate annual advising form–available in Word and PDF). In addition, it is advisable to have at least one advising appointment each year with the Office of Academic Services.
What do I have to do to complete the program?
To complete the program you must satisfy all program requirements. The year you are going to complete them, you should submit the graduation application form to the Office of Academic Services at Glendon (this should be done months before graduation, so take a look at the due dates). Once you complete the program you may pick up the certificate or have it mailed to you (for a fee). You will find all the information on the diploma services page of the York University website.
