Managed Computers

Description

Glendon ITS provides managed desktops and laptops to provide a reliable experience to our users and to support the core activities of Glendon College.

Eligibility

Available to faculty and staff who have purchased an ITS recommended desktop or laptop computer, with University funds.  For all other computers, please consult our Hardware and Software support service description.

Policies

  •  Computer problems are to be reported to the helpdesk (see Support). Level 1 issues (ie. general software questions) will be addressed by the helpdesk, while Level 2 issues (ie. operating system failure) will be addressed by ITS operations.
  • PCs will be imaged with our staff image. This contains:
    •  Windows 10
    • Edge
    • Chrome
    • Adobe Flash
    • Microsoft Office 365
    • PDF-XChange
    • Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager Client
  • Macs will be imaged with our staff image. This contains:
    • MacOSX (latest)
    • Chrome
    • Microsoft Office 365
    • Hardware support: please consult our Hardware and Software support service description.
