If you have questions concerning immigration or your student or worker status, please book an appointment with staff at York International, located at 200 York Lanes on the Keele campus. An immigration officer will answer all your questions of a general or personal nature.

Learning skills services :


York’s Learning Skills Services promotes academic success by helping students improve their effectiveness and efficiency at studying and completing tests and assignments, managing time, and presenting projects.

Learning Skills Services is located in room N110 of the Bennett Centre for Student Services. LSS offers workshops and one-on-one sessions with trained advisors, along with a range of other services. Fore more information.

Bibliothèque Scott :


The Scott Library on the Keele campus houses the social sciences, humanities, fine arts, and environmental studies collections. Materials include books, journals, microtext, maps, audiovisual formats, archival papers, government documents, and electronic resources.

  • The first floor houses Scott Circulation and Reserve Services along with photocopy services, group study rooms and the Microtext Room.
  • The second floor is home to :
    -The information Desk
    -The Learning Commons where you can find expertise to assist you with research, writing, and study skills.
    -The research desks staffed by librarians from the Scott Research & Collections department; the librarians are available to help you with your research questions.
    -Study spaces to match your habits and needs – from comfortable, quite reflective areas, to group study rooms with large LCD screens, to an open area (the Collaboratory) that invites you to actively engage with your peers.
  • The third through fifth floors are where you will find millions of books that support over half of the research and teaching at York. Also, on the fifth floor you will find two classrooms where many workshops and classes are held that will help guide you to finding the right resources from not only these millions of volumes, but also from the millions of online articles and e-books the Libraries’ subscribe to, as well as to learn to be to be discerning in effectively using the free web.
