In the workshop, Andrea Kosavic and Dany Savard from York Library will help you to
- Learn about different persistent identifiers and researcher IDs such as ORCID, Scopus ID and Web of Science Researcher ID.
- Learn about how researcher profiles are created on such platforms as Google Scholar, ResearchGate, and Mendeley.
- Learn about the growing importance of preprint repositories and alternative metrics.
- Learn how to deposit publications in open access repositories such as YorkSpace in order to increase the reach of research.
After the workshop, there will be a hands-on practical session from 3:30pm-4:30pm with the Librarians.
