In addition to its General Catalogue, the SRC hosts the José Escobar Library, a collection of nearly 2,000 titles which focuses on the History and Theory of Hispanic Literature.
Prof. José Escobar was a founding member of the Department of Hispanic Studies (Glendon College) were he taught from 1972 until 2005. In 2014, his family generously donated part of his private book collection to the Department for the benefit of the Glendon community.
