There are some books that lend themselves to being translated for a marginalized audience. The Birth House by Ami McKay is one of those. Sonya Malaborza, who authored the French version of this novel with an Acadian readership in mind, will give us an overview of the strategies she adopted to complete this project and explain why she opted to do it the way she did.

This talk will be given in French on Wednesday, December 1, from 4:30 – 5:30pm via Zoom.
