Admission Requirements

CANADIAN HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS
Currently attending high school on a full-time basis, or have recently graduated?

INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
Not a Canadian citizen or permanent resident, and planning on studying on a permit?

UNIVERSITY & COLLEGE TRANSFER STUDENTS
Already completed one full year of studies at an accredited university/college/CÉGEP (no matter how long ago or where)?

MATURE STUDENTS
Age 20 years or older, and have attended less than one full year of college or university studies?

ABORIGINAL STUDENTS
Have skills and experience to succeed at university?

VISITING STUDENTS
Already have a degree and wish to take courses out of interest, study on a Letter of Permission, or fulfilling requirements for a professional designation?

HOME-SCHOOLED STUDENTS
Never studied in a formal academic high-school environment?

RETURNING/REACTIVATING?
Have you been away from York for at least one year and haven’t studied elsewhere? You can simply reactivate your student number/file!
