Glendon celebrated the outstanding generosity of alumni donors and friends to the newly created Companions of Glendon with a reception on September 26th. Donors dedicated a seat in the amphitheatre within the newly-opened Centre of Excellence including a permanent plaque with their name, or in tribute to someone special. In total, 107 seats were named to raise over $100,000.

The Companions of Glendon is part of The Campaign Leadership for Global Challenges which has raised over $7 million to date.
Alain Baudot, Chair of Faculty and Staff for the Campaign and Professor Emeritus of Glendon College, played a tremendous role in gathering support for the project, including rallying Glendon’s French department.

The campaign to name the seats of the amphitheatre will continue with a corporate campaign. With your corporate support, our goal is to raise an additional $100,000 for these named seats.
