Research Ethics 101 information session
January 12, 2017 from 1pm to 3.30pm
Location: YH-A222
Glendon College, York University
2275 Bayview Ave., Toronto, ON

Glendon Research Services invites you to attend a Research Ethics 101 information session with Alison Collins-Mrakas, Senior Manager and Policy Advisor, Research Ethics. You will receive important training on the ethics approval procedures for course-related research projects, as well as for individual projects by students and researchers. You will learn how to submit your projects for approval and how to set up department level ethics review committees for undergraduate research.

Alison will also elaborate on the changes to the review process, which she presented briefly at the November Faculty Council meeting. These changes take effect in January, 2017.

This session is open to faculty members and staff. We encourage everyone who conducts research on human or animal subjects, or who deals with ethics-related inquiries, to attend.

Kindly RSVP by Monday, January 9 to research@glendon.yorku.ca
