In 1916, reporter turned playwright, Susan Glaspell, first questioned the narrow perspective of the judicial system and the way it chooses to treat women’s issues. Now over a century later, Trifles continues to parallel the injustices women face in the legal system, begging us to keep asking the question: Who gets to decide what is right and what is wrong?

Please note that the performance will take place in the Ballroom of the Glendon Manor.

Please note that all proceeds from Saturday evening’s performance will be donated Nellie’s Shelter, a Toronto based organization whose mission is to operate programs and services for women and children who have and are experiencing oppressions such as violence, poverty and homelessness.
