You’ll need A Passport York account to register for courses. Sign up as a new student here.

After you log in to Passport York for the first time, you will be prompted to set up two-factor authentication (2FA). Download the DUO Mobile application.

Setting up your Security Questions is required before you can enrol in your first course. Click here to set up your Security Questions.

Ensure that you have the correct email address on file as this is the primary method of communication from the university. Click to verify your contact information here.

If you choose your York Student email as your preferred email address, be sure to check this account regularly! We recommend at least once per week.

Access the New Student Enrolment Module on eClass by using your Passport York account and the enrolment key emailed to you from our office.

In this self-paced module, you will learn university vocabulary (i.e., credits vs courses) and enrolment skills (i.e., course search, schedule creation, course enrolment).

You will also be guided through your first year degree requirements.

Finally, you will be able to check back over your enrolments and see your next steps before September.
