Introducing our Brain Boosting Virtual Camp. We have an exciting line up of interactive workshops and social activities to give you the opportunity to speak French and learn some important life skills.
Our programming spans the first two weeks of August. Sign up for one or sign up for them all, the choice is up to you. It’s FREE. Our team will provide you with a safe and welcoming environment so that all participants will be at ease during the workshops. If you just want to have fun and meet others, join us for our afternoon Franco-Fun activities.
Please note that all workshops will be delivered in French.
Week 1: How to Interview for a Job and Financial Literacy
This 4-part series focuses on how students will learn to discover their strengths, minimize their weaknesses and prepare for the job market in an uncertain future by participating in engaging activities. Students will also learn and acquire the essential financial skills that the youth will need for life. Our participants will prepare a budget and learn the importance of planning expenses and prioritizing their purchases.

The objective of this workshop is to teach you how to develop your transferable skills and learn about the workforce that you will be entering. Through interactive activities, you will leave with a better understanding of how to promote yourselves, how to interview for a job, and how to apply your skills every day. You will also gain awareness of how you are developing your skills every day at school, at work and in your personal life.
August 5th, 1:30 - 3:00 PM
In this hands-on workshop you will learn how to understand a cellphone contract. You will also gain a better understanding of how important financial literacy is in the real world. Who knew that math could be this much fun?!
August 6th, 1:30 - 3:00 PM
The objective of this interactive workshop is to understand the key aspects of financial planning by planning for a travel adventure after high school. Participants will learn how to identify different funding sources and how to save money.
August 7th, 1:30 - 3:00 PM
The objective of this interactive workshop will introduce participants to a range of subjects that will help them gain awareness of the importance of being armed with financial know-how. Participants will learn how to identify different funding sources and how to save money.
The objective of this workshop is to teach participants from grades 9 to 12 the foundation/rudiments of theatrical techniques and concepts studied at a university level. Throughout the workshop, participants will develop and learn new theatrical concepts such as object work, character creation, and improvisation.
Through guided exercises and discussions, participants will be challenged creatively and cognitively, both autonomously and in groups.
Every afternoon between 3:00 and 4:00 PM, Franco-fun Activities participants will get to have fun playing interactive games, listening to music, making gifs, discovering fun French expressions from around the world. Every day will be different.
