Explore is an intensive, government-funded immersion program offered during the spring and summer in exciting locations across the country. The sessions are taught at accredited institutions, and students live on campus. Destination Clic is an experiential summer program for francophone students living outside Quebec. The program is aimed at nurturing their sense of belonging and identity with the francophone community and enhancing their French-speaking skills.

The Explore and Destination Clic programs at Glendon are looking for dynamic and responsible individuals for the role of language monitor. The goal is to provide our participants with an inclusive, safe, engaging, and immersive experience in French and in English. Participants from both programs attend classes, workshops, and socio-cultural activities, while living on campus.

As a monitor, your primary responsibility will be to support the Explore and Destination Clic participants in their journey. With the help of your fellow monitors and program coordinator, you will be responsible for the planning, implementing, and leading of language-related activities as well as engaging with participants during events.

The ESL and FSL Explore programs will be held from May 20 to June 21 (spring session), July 1 to July 19, and July 22 to August 9 (summer sessions). The Destination Clic FFL program will also be held from July 1 to July 19. Full-time or part-time hours are available during both our spring and summer sessions, including evenings and weekends. There is also a mandatory training session the week before the official start of the program. Remuneration starts at $17.00 per hour, plus room and board for monitors wishing to live on campus.
