Dr. Blakely is a public sociologist committed to advancing gender equality through scholarly teaching, advocacy, and board work. She holds a doctorate in sociology and gender & women’s studies from Loyola University Chicago and is currently teaching in the Glendon Sociology department.

Michael Dan  Michael Dan  

Michael Dan is a philanthropist and former neurosurgeon who is passionate about the unique health needs of Indigenous peoples. Michael is a member of the Order of Canada and the Order of Ontario.

Former Ambassador of Belgium in Ottawa, Canada and currently the Director of Bilateral Relations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Belgium

Annie DemirjianAnnie Demirjian

Annie Demirjian is the former Director of the GSPIA. At the beginning of the Iraq war, she joined the United Nations and became the go-to person to help countries around the world— including Iraq, Somalia and Libya— transition to post-conflict stabilization, moving towards democracy.
