Cold-calling refers to contacting a potential employer via telephone; it requires a great deal of initiative and can be quite stressful. Effective use of cold-calling is easier than you think, but it does require practice.
LinkedIn is a social media platform for professionals. Like Facebook, LinkedIn has a news feed where you can publish, like, and comment on other people’s updates. You can also use it to find jobs and access resources for professional development.
